PRODEX

PRODEX - the International Specialist Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Tools and Production Measurement ‑ has developed into the national and international meeting point for the sector since its launch in 2002. It is quite obvious that the practice-oriented concept has convinced the exhibitors as also the trade visitors. The two-year cycle has also proved itself.

The event is organised in close collaboration with the industry associations SWISSMEM (manufacturers) and TecnoSwiss (dealers).

In Halls 1.0, 1.1 and 5.0 of the Exhibition Center Basel, PRODEX will typify in a compact format, the global product range of machine tools, precision tools, production measurement, production automation, hardware and software plus associated services. In so doing, the exhibitors will not be grouped thematically according to products, but will present themselves within the context of process chains. This facilitates the practice-oriented representation of handling processes and the seamless presentation of integrated solutions. Trade visitors to this fair who are involved in investment decision-making, both individually and with others, will therefore find vir-tually every practical solution for their manufacturing technology mission.

Occupying a strong position as one of the most globally important countries in terms of both manufacturing and consumption of high-tech products for metal processing, the range on offer at PRODEX also holds a mirror up to the internationally recognised proficiency of Swiss metal workers and processors. Indeed their enormous competitive strength results primarily from continuous investment in the most up-to-date production equipment. The international range also draws many specialists from the bordering industrial regions in France, Germany and Austria.
