The security industry is vibrant, active and innovative. This was clearly demonstrated once again at the SICHERHEIT 2011 specialist trade fair which took place for the 18th time in the halls of Messe Zürich 15 - 18 November. The trade fair for ‘Fire, Safety & Security', which takes place every two years, attracted 10,040 visitors this year, approximately the equivalent of when it was held two years ago.

Those in charge at MCH Swiss Exhibition (Basel) Ltd. have decided to hand the organisation and running of Swisstech, the Central Fair for the Subcontracting Industries, to subsidiary Exhibit & More.

PRODEX, an international trade fair for machine tools, tools and production measurement, which was staged for the fifth time from 16 to 20 November in the Basel exhibition halls 1.0, 1.1 and 5, was once again a complete success. More than 300 exhibitors, which represented over 1,000 suppliers, exhibited their latest technological innovations over a total area of about 19,000 square metres. During the five days of the trade fair, the exhibitors welcomed a steady stream of 30,855 trade visitors.
